We are super excited to announce the return of the great Taita Universario Queta and his wife Abuela Vitelia, from the famous Queta lineage of the Cofan tribe of Putumayo. Taita Universario is a Taita Major, a respected elder and advanced medicine man, He has been with the medicine all his life, and is accompanied by his wife Abuela Vitelia, a powerful healer in her own right. Her beautiful songs and magic fluids are a comfort and blessing for the women of ceremony. Danielle considers her to be one of her most powerful mentors and the Abuelas tutorship was a great turning point for Danielle in her medicine journey. They bring with them their very potent medicine, prepared by Taita with medicine grown at his farm and maloka at the Cofan Reservation. We have been honored to bring folks to participate in ceremonies at his Maloka, and blessed with his presence for the final retreats at our farm in Barbosa. They have travelled with us to the US before, and it is a great honor to bring them once again to share the knowledge of their ancestry with you.
